Completed scholarship applications must be received by December 20, 2013. GCYD has moved to an online scholarship application, available atwww.gcyd.org. The link to the application is on the homepage under “Updates,” or you can follow the link:http://www.gcyd.org/Scholarship.html. GCYD has outlined information to help students with the application process, and individuals who may be offering guidance.
The Governor’s Coalition for Youth with Disabilities (GCYD) is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization of volunteers, whose mission is to provide scholarships to qualified high school students with disabilities seeking to continue their training or education. Through the generosity of several state agencies, state and private colleges, businesses, and individual donors, GCYD is able to award financial scholarships to deserving high students with disabilities on an annual basis.
